Our Sanctuary Commitment: Veranda does not sell personal data, does not serve advertisements, and does not track you across other websites. Your moments are shared strictly with the friends you invite.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide a private, intimate social experience:

Account Details: When signing in with Google, we receive basic authentication details (name, email address, profile picture, and unique account identifier) to create and secure your profile.
Moments You Share: Photos, thoughts, music selections, location check-ins, sleep and wake rituals, and emotion reactions that you actively post.
Circle Settings: The list of confirmed friends and your designated inner circle members.
Operational Diagnostics: Basic device type and app version strictly used for performance diagnostics, crash prevention, and push notification delivery (if opted in). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

Display your moments to your confirmed friends circle or your inner circle based on your privacy selection.
Deliver in-app activity notifications and opt-in push alerts when friends interact with your moments.
Safeguard accounts against abuse, unauthorized access, and spam.

3. Who Can See Your Content

There is no public explore feed, no public directory, and zero search engine indexing of personal posts. Content you post is visible only to people you have confirmed as friends (up to your circle limit of 150 friends). Moments marked as "Inner Circle" are restricted solely to your chosen inner circle friends.

4. Zero Data Monetization or Third-Party Advertising

We do not sell, rent, license, or monetize your personal information to data brokers, ad networks, or marketing firms. We do not train machine learning or artificial intelligence models on your private photos, reflections, or moments.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is housed in enterprise-grade, encrypted cloud facilities. Data in transit is protected using modern HTTPS / TLS encryption, and stored data is protected with industry-standard encryption at rest.

6. Data Rights and Deletion

You own your memories. You can delete individual moments at any time. You can also delete your entire account directly through the settings menu or by emailing support@onveranda.com. Upon account deletion, all moments, profile records, and circle associations are permanently removed.
