By accessing or using Veranda (at onveranda.com or via our web and mobile applications), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, please discontinue using the service.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Veranda. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.

3. Acceptable Use Guidelines

You agree not to:

Post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, threatening, or sexually explicit.
Violate the privacy of friends in your circle, including screenshotting or publicly distributing private moments without explicit permission.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or probe the integrity and security of the application infrastructure.
Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or spam.

4. Content Ownership and License

You own your content. All photos, writings, thoughts, and moments remain your personal intellectual property. You grant Veranda only the limited, non-exclusive license necessary to store, display, and deliver your content to your authorized friends according to your privacy settings.

5. Digital Goods and Upgrades

Veranda may offer optional digital upgrades, such as circle capacity expansions. Payments are handled securely through certified third-party payment gateways. Because digital capacity upgrades are fulfilled instantly upon purchase, they are generally non-refundable except where mandated by local consumer protection law or in the case of verified duplicate billing.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Location check-ins and sleep/wake logs are provided strictly for informal social journaling among friends. They are not intended or certified for navigation, emergency tracking, or medical monitoring.

Veranda is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veranda disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
